References and Parodies[]

  • One Piece: The cover page for the chapter is a parody of the cover requests from One Piece, with requested illustrations to be on the first page.
    • When Bondo speaks of Madoka he says "Madoka-chwan" the suffix being used by Sanji when he refers to pretty women. This is not included in the english release.
      • When Madoka receives her fortune, it reads "Yosaku", who is a character in One Piece, this reference was changed for the English release.
  • Dragon Ball: Bondo makes reference to Roboco landing like the "Z Fighters" who are characters in Dragon Ball.
  • Act-Age: Roboco introduces herself as "Kei Yonagi" who is the main character of the series, her underwear also reads "Princess Iron Fan" a performance in Act-Age.
  • Bondo later asks Madoka if she's like to read the series.
  • Demon Slayer: After the events leading to Act-Age's cancellation, the references to the series were changed to Demon Slayer ones. Roboco now introduces herself as "Shinobu Kocho", a character in Demon Slayer, and her underwear read "Insect Breathing" which is the character's fighting style.
  • Bondo later asks Madoka if she's like to read the series instead.
  • Bakuman: When Madoka receives her fortune, it reads "Not Ba-kuman", Bakuman being a manga series about making manga.
  • This replaces the "Yosaku" One Piece reference in the Japanese release.
  • The Nice Guy on the Path of Tenhō: Madoka's serious face when playing Othello seems to be a reference to a character from the series named Ginji.
  • Doraemon: Roboco's Robocopter flying hair is a reference to Doraemon's "Take-copter".
